INTRODUCING THE LARGEST ICE BRIDGE.........

 INTRODUCING THE LARGEST ICE BRIDGE.........

(I appreciate Cara Giaimo for providing the image of the above ice bridge. Please let me know if it is against copyright.)

Students at Eindhoven University of Technology in Juuka, Finland, have set upon a project in 2016. They were building a bridge based on an obscure model designed by Leonardo da Vinci in 1501. Eindhoven’s students opted to add a caveat to make their modern attempt extra-challenging. They built a 65-metre version of the bridge out of ice. The bridge was constructed from ice reinforced with paper fiber, making it strong enough to hold the weight of a car.

(I appreciate NUVO magazine for introducing the largest ice bridge. Please let me know if it is against copyright.)
