National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries and library professionals play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. The theme of this year is Find Your Joy. It is an invitation for people to explore what sparks joy in them at the library. The theme amplifies a message that there are innumerable ways people can find joy in the library. However you use your library, there’s joy waiting for you there. During National Library Week or any week, you are welcome to visit your library and bring someone with you, help a friend sign up for a library card, explore library items, appreciate library staff, and thank yourself for being a library person, etc. Libraries are places where curiosity and connection come to life.
